Aims

Our purpose is to promote and foster the educational development of the individual child in all ways within a Christian context.

To achieve this purpose we will:

o Enable each child to develop their talents and abilities, with the aim to achieve and improve their personal best.

o Introduce each child to the Christian faith, to promote their spiritual and moral development and to make the teaching of Religious Education and Collective Worship a meaningful part of their lives.

o Work in partnership with home, local churches and the wider community to encourage each child to be a responsible citizen.

o Create an environment in which each child’s sense of curiosity and excitement is stimulated, their confidence and self-esteem is raised and their respect for and understanding of other people is developed.

o Promote the physical and emotional well-being of every child through positive, proactive attitudes within a caring environment with high expectations of good behaviour.
